Amity University, Gwalior Placements
The training and placement cell handle all placements. Every year, the university calls top-tier companies in India as well as across the globe for the on-campus placement for the final year students. The training of the students for the placement starts from the beginning of the course. Faculties and the Amity Universityplacement cell guides students with the placements. The training for tr placement officially begins at the beginning of the final semester. Companies in Information Technology, manufacturing, fashion, Banking, and human resources are amongst the top recruiting fields at the placement.
Campus interviews also follow the multi-tier formula for the selection of candidates. These rounds begin with the career counseling of the students, followed by group discussion, public speaking skill training, and mock interviews for the students.
Amity Gwalior kick-started its 2020-21 campus placements season in the first week of June 2020. To date, 148 companies (133 from AU MP and 15 from ATPC) from various sectors have participated in the processes, though virtually, for full-time employment.
AUG has placed 98.13% of its 2021 Graduate Students. BTech CSE, ECS, and MBA branches had a 100% placement record.

Amity University Gwalior Eligibility Criteria for 2023
- Students need to have 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 or equivalent exams to take admission in UG courses. In addition, Engineering, Architecture, and other streams require students to also appear for the entrance exam. Students can appear for JEE, Amity JEE, State level entrance exam, and NATA scores are needed along with higher secondary certification. Students can also submit AMCAT scores.
- Taking admission into PG courses requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant stream. MBA students should have a qualifying score in CAT/MAT/GMAT/GRE/NMAT/CMAT/AMCAT or AMITY Test.
Amity University, Gwalior Cut Off
Direct Admission Process: Students who have secured 80% and above aggregate in Class XII (CBSE/ISC/State-Boards of 2019/2020/2021) are exempted from the primary selection round. Selection will be only based on the Amity Application Form. For remaining, students' selection criteria will be merit, wherein they will be evaluated on the basis of their aggregate percentage.
The aggregate percentage will be calculated based on marks scored in English & three academic subjects (compulsorily including eligibility subjects and excluding Physical Education, Fine Arts, Performing Arts, or any Vocational/Non-Written subjects). These subjects will be considered for respective/selected disciplines.

Amity University Gwalior (AUG) Campus
The 100-acre campus has everything a student will need for their academic and individual growth. Amity University MP has a robust IT network that allows for high-speed connectivity. The IT Lab is outfitted with cutting-edge server and computer systems and licensed software and applications. This helps students with the research and aided learning abilities. At AUG, the institute believes in providing the students with the best environment for learning and the most advanced infrastructure.
The campus takes care of quenching students' academic thirst. It also procreates an environment that allows students to relax and grow spiritually. Students will get all the things that are necessary for their nurturing. The hostel at AUG is well planned and designed, which offers students to rest as well as study in a healthy environment. Students have access to restaurants and ice cream parlors on campus. Suppose students feel like they can also visit a city not too far away from the campus. All the transport facilities are available at the disposal of the students.
The safety of the students is one of the biggest concerns of the management. Therefore, it is not taken lightly. The campus is well protected by security guards as well as 24/7 surveillance cameras. All Amity students are members of the Amizone-Amity Intranet Zone, allowing easy access to these journals & papers. This facility also helps students with their lesson plans. - The entire campus is connected through a Local Area Network, including the library and the hostels. There is 24-hour wireless internet connectivity with a data transfer speed of 100 Mbps. Online UPSs are installed for uninterrupted power supply in each lab. Students also get the internet facility in their hostel rooms.
- Open Learning Area (OLA) is a designated space for students' interactions & collaboration. It promotes bonding and healthy discussion among the students. It showcases innovations in educational technology, interactions using digital media, 2D/3D visual experiments, open lectures, and more. BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) is adopted to work in the OLA.
Amity University Gwalior Facilities
- Within the premises, there are two large hostels, one for boys and one for girls. The rooms are apartment-style, with bedrooms sharing a lounge and bathroom. All rooms have internet access to help students with their classwork. Each student has their bed, mattress, pillow, pillow covers and sheets, cupboards, and a study table with a chair. Because each bedroom has a double bed, each apartment has six occupants.
- The University's cafeteria is spacious, well-lit, and well-ventilated, with menus designed by a team of professional dieticians to ensure a well-balanced diet.
- AUG students have access to medical services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The infirmary is located within the hostel to allow students easy access to medical care. The trained medical staff is always on call to handle any emergency or major medical problem. There is also an ambulance on campus that can transport you to better medical care and a first-aid station that is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
- The washed and ironed linen is made available within 48 hours. This is a free facility for all inmates of Amity hostels, and it is included in the hostel fees.
- Amity University has a well-equipped gymnasium for boys and girls on campus.
- To facilitate the students, Amity University ATM Facility staff is available at a prime location on the university campus.
- Amity University Madhya Pradesh has 12 buses (two owned and ten hired) for providing Transport facilities to the students. In addition, the vehicles have also been acquired by the University. Students can also get the transport facility from outside the campus.

The university offers financial aid to the students based on their merit. Students are selected when they apply for admissions. All students who qualify for Amity University, Gwalior (AUG)scholarships (after 10+2) can opt for Fast Track admission. They are not required to appear for the admission selection process, and their admission is determined solely based on their application form.
Scholarships and Direct admissions are granted only for the undergraduate programs. It is not accepted for postgraduate programs. Even if they get selected for the scholarship, postgraduate students still have to go through a second selection round. Once they are set in those rounds, their admission and scholarship are secured.

- 100% Scholarship is awarded to students who have secured a minimum 93% aggregate in class 12th of CBSE/ISC/State Boards.

Amity University Gwalior Application Process 2023
Every year, the admissions for UG and PG courses at Amity University Gwalior begins in January. Candidates who are interested in a particular course can apply online through the microsite or in-person by visiting the campus.
- B.Tech admission is based on the JEE Main, Amity JEE, AMCAT, or other state-level entrance exams.
- Admission to the B. Arch program is based on NATA scores.
- Aside from B. Tech and B. Arch, admission to UG courses is based on Class 12 results.
- Class 12 results determine admission to integrated courses.
- Candidates must submit a State of Purpose (SOP). It is required in a video format, and it should be one minute long.
- Selection is merit-based, and the SOP can act as a tie-breaker. A candidate's performance in the SOP video will be used to make the final decision.
- Lateral entry admissions are also available for the B. Tech program. The eligibility is a diploma after grade 10, i.e., 10+3.
- Candidates with an aggregate of 80% or higher in their Class 12 board exam (CBSE/ISC/state board) may apply for direct admission (no selection process required).

For taking admission to the B.Tech program at the university, students will have to appear for the JEE or Amity JEE. Amity JEE (Amity Joint Entrance Examination) is an entrance exam conducted by Amity University admission to B.Tech programs. Students who wish to can appear for both exams. Amity JEE is conducted as a computer-based exam in cities across the country. The questions are based on the CBSE XII syllabus, including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM), English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB), and English. - Amity School of Engineering and Technology, Amity University Madhya Pradesh, organized the Annual Youth Fest “AMICHROMA 2023” on 16th and 17th February 2023 from 10:00 A.M. to 06.00 P.M. through online mode in which a large number of participants took part. The event’s objective was to provide a platform for young minds to showcase their skills and talents through various events apart from academics. - A one-day International E-Conference on ‘Digital Humanities in the 21st Century: Emerging Trends & Future Prospects’ was organized by - Amity School of Social Sciences and Amity School of Communication, AUMP, in collaboration with DHARTI (Digital Humanities Alliance for Research and Teaching Innovations). - In the zonal level contest of the National Association of Students of Architecture (NASA), a national association of Architecture students, a group of students from Amity School of Engineering and Technology of AUG won the 'Best New College in North Zone' award.
